Garland Brent Kizer, CFP® established Kizer Financial Services, lnc. (Now Kizer and Associates) in 1999 after a 23-year career as the generaI manager of an aerospace parts distribution company. The practice was formed to help people develop financial plans that serve as a guide through retirement and help them realize their dreams. Brent and his Associates also function as a "Family CFO™" by guiding families through the myriad of financial situations they encounter with advice and guidance.


Brent has securities series 7, 63 and 65 registrations in addition to life, health and long term care insurance licenses. In 2008, he completed his course work and examination to achieve the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He has also been named a Five Star Wealth Manager in Chicago Magazine every year from 2014 through the present year. He is an Investment Advisor Representative with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC, member FINRA/SIPC.

After graduating from Prospect High School, Brent earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business from MacMurray College and his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.


He currently resides in Bartlett with his wife Sherry and son Brian. His daughter Samantha resides in Michigan where she remained after college graduation. Brent currently serves as a Trustee for the THSD 214 Foundation as well as a Lifetime Trustee of MacMurray College.
